Super Bowl score by quarter: 4-1 square comes out on top

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 in Super Bowl XLVII. If you had money riding on the squares game, the 4-1 square was the final winner of the night.

The Baltimore Ravens are your 2013 Super Bowl champions after defeating San Francisco 49ers 34-31 on Sunday night. If you were playing the squares game at home throughout, the final winning square was 4-1 after plenty of scoring in the fourth quarter.

Squares games normally pay out a larger amount for selecting the winning square, so it looks like 4-1 was the lucky one to own this year. If your game paid out cash for each individual score, you might have lost track throughout the final 15 minutes.

Justin Tucker extended the Ravens lead with a 19-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter, putting them up 31-23. Colin Kaepernick answered with a 15-yard run just minutes later to make it a 31-29 game after a missed two-point conversion. So, to recap, 1-3 and 1-9 squares also yielded money for those in score-by-score paying games.

The game concluded with a safety in the final seconds, so the final winning square was 4-1.

Hopefully you fared well at one point or another with your squares. A lot of offense led to a lot of payouts.
