The San Francisco 49ers made a valiant comeback effort against the Baltimore Ravens in Super Bowl 47. After looking like it woud be near impossible for the Niners to comeback from a large deficit, they managed to come back and have one final chance to take the lead against the Ravens in the NFL championship game. With 4th and goal from the Ravens 5-yard line and under two minutes to play, the 49ers had one last chance to take the lead.

The 49ers looked like they had one final play to win the Super Bowl. It didn’t happen.


They fell short.
The Baltimore Ravens were 4-point underdogs in the Super Bowl but ended up winning 34-31, giving Ray Lewis the second Super Bowl championship of his career. After the Ravens were counted out midway through the season due to injuries to Lewis, Lardarius Webb, and Joe Flacco not being considered "elite", Baltimore found themselves in the Super Bowl and one play away from locking down a championship.
As you can see above, they did.
