Super Bowl parade 2013: Ravens to celebrate Tuesday in Baltimore

The Super Bowl champion Ravens will celebrate with their fans Tuesday.

The Baltimore Ravens are Super Bowl XLVII champions and they plan on celebrating it on Tuesday at their parade back in Baltimore. Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake told 105.7 The Fan on Sunday night that the parade would be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET, while a statement from the mayor said that parade details would be released in the coming hours.

The parade is expected to begin at City Hall and end at M&T Bank Stadium, a change from their parade in 2001, when it ended at War Memorial Plaza in front of City Hall. That year, the enthusiasm at the parade was tempered some by heavy rain, but the fans still came out by the thousands to see their team. An estimated 200,000 fans lined the parade route 12 years ago.

The Ravens captured the Super Bowl by edging the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night in New Orleans, LA. Joe Flacco earned MVP honors after going 22-for-23 for 287 yards and three touchdowns.
