In 2012, Madonna’s Super Bowl halftime performance was widely mocked and ridiculed, but the baby boomer set and Generation X was entertained and floated on nostalgia. On Sunday, it was Beyonce’s turn to deliver the goods as she strutted her stuff during halftime at Super Bowl XLVII. The set featured a Destiny’s Child reunion and did not feature a cameo by Jay-Z, as many anticipated. Fans and critics seemed impressed with the overall performance.
