For the second time in franchise history, the Baltimore Ravens have captured the Lombardi Trophy. After defeating the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 on Sunday night in Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco and the gang will be taking the party back to the streets of Baltimore.
Super Bowl 2013: Ravens fans ready to celebrate in Baltimore
The party in Baltimore won’t be ending anytime soon after the Ravens won their second Super Bowl on Sunday.


As is customary in the wake of any Super Bowl victory, the winning team travels back to its hometown to celebrate with the fans. The Ravens won’t waste any time taking to the streets of their fair city.
As noted over at Baltimore Beatdown, the Ravens Super Bowl parade is set to kickoff on Tuesday.
Earlier in the week, [Mayor Stephanie] Rawlings-Blake went on 105.7 The Fan, saying the parade would likely take place on Tuesday, February 5th. The live feed following the win showed the city of Baltimore already well into their celebrations.
Rawlings-Blake and her office formally announced the plans for the Ravens Super Bowl parade on Sunday night shortly after the final seconds of the game. The parade will begin at City Hall and wind its way through the streets, ultimately ending at M&T Bank Stadium.
