Super Bowl XLVII is now two days old, but that doesn't mean San Francisco fans have gotten over the loss to the Ravens. While Baltimore and it's fans celebrated the Super Bowl win with a victory parade on Tuesday, 49er fans are still working their way through the stages of grief.

The Super Bowl is a few days old, but San Francisco fans are still going through the stages of grief after the 34-31 loss to Baltimore.

Fans have been handling the loss in a variety of ways including disappointment, confusion and anger. Many are upset with some questionable play-calls and suspect officiating. As David Fucillo of Niners Nation wrote, each fan is dealing with the loss in their own way:
For now, we each have to get through our grief in our own ways. Others may scoff, but given the emotion that comes with sports, and particularly our strong communities, there is a measure of grief to be considered.
While the Super Bowl loss is not the same as losing a loved one, there is still plenty of disappointment and sadness. Fucillo called the loss the worst in franchise history. The brutal nature of the loss has led to plenty of bitterness among other emotions.
One thing that may help 49er fans get over the loss would be the return of star safety Dashon Goldson. Goldson is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent and 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh said re-signing him would be a priority:
Harbaugh was asked about Goldson and his long-term future and he did say he thinks Goldson was the kind of guy who deserves to get rewarded. He acknowledged Goldson would be a priority as they head into the offseason.
If and when that happens, San Francisco fans may turn their attention to next season, but for now, they continue to recover from the Super Bowl:
I think I’ve spent a good chunk of time in the depression mode since then. I think I’m coming out of that, and getting a bit more into anger mode.
