Former Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan will reportedly interview for the same position with the New Orleans Saints, according to The Times-Picayune. The New Orleans paper's report conflicts with an earlier report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, who reported that Ryan to the Saints was a done deal.
Rob Ryan, Todd Grantham candidates for Saints DC job, per reports
Former Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan and Georgia defensive coordinator Todd Grantham will both interview for the vacant coordinator spot with the New Orleans Saints.

Georgia Bulldogs defensive coordinator Todd Grantham will also interview for the job, according to the report. Grantham will reportedly interview on Thursday, while Ryan, who was fired at the end of the 2012 season by Dallas, will interview Friday.
The New Orleans Saints will welcome coach Sean Payton back to the sidelines next season after he served a year-long suspension in relation to the Saints' bounty scandal.
Ryan's name had come up in conversations about the recently vacant position in the last few days, along with former Kansas City Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel and former New York Jets coach Eric Mangini also reportedly being considered.
Payton has made it clear recently that he would prefer to run a 3-4 defensive alignment, which Ryan ran in Dallas. The Cowboys, who hired former USC defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin to replace Ryan, are looking to switch to a 4-3. Grantham has also installed a 3-4 defensive alignment with the Bulldogs.
