With $9 million of his contract becoming guaranteed on Saturday, there was some concern about Chris Johnson's future with the Titans, but it appears the speedy running back will be back in Tennessee next season. Johnson, who wasn't sure himself if he'd be back with the Titans, had a 30 minute meeting with coach Mike Munchak on Thursday. After the meeting Johnson tweeted that he had a great talk with Munchak and "we both look forward to making that next step."
Chris Johnson meets Mike Munchak, ready for ‘next step’ with Titans
After a 30 minute meeting with Titans head coach Mike Munchak, Chris Johnson seems like he is staying in Tennessee and says he is looking forward to the next step.

The 27-year-old running back is due $10 million next season, with $9 million guaranteed if he is still on the roster come Saturday. Johnson had an up-and-down season in 2012; he rushed for 1,243 yards, but was held under 60 yards in eight games.
In Munchak’s second season in Tennessee, the Titans finished 6-10 and ranked 26th in total offense. If he wants the offense to get back on track, Munchak will need Johnson to produce at a high level next year.
