After weeks of rumors, Darrelle Revis may soon be parting with the New York Jets. A league source told Pro Football Talk that the Jets have a "good" offer on the table for the cornerback, an offer that would provide reasonable compensation for both the player and the organization.
Darrelle Revis trade rumors: Jets have ‘good’ offer on the table
The Jets reportedly have a “good” offer on the table for cornerback Darrelle Revis, according to reports. Is a trade imminent?

The compensation is still unknown to Revis, according to another source. The Jets and Revis have yet to have any talks, and the organization has not granted permission to Revis’ agent to negotiate with other teams. Scott Salmon of Gang Green Nation was skeptical about the report, saying that without more detail, it’s impossible to tell if the report is legitimate, or if the Jets are trying to manipulate that market through the media. If true, however, the Jets could be bring in an impressive haul:
If it truly is a good offer, it will be hard to pass up. It’s been reported that the New York Jets are looking for two first round picks. If they can get anything close to that, say a first, second, and a late rounder, or something along those lines, it may be hard to pass up that kind of deal for a team that’s so desperate for starters.
Coming off an ugly 6-10 season and with little room to work with under the salary cap, the Jets are looking for as much help as they can get. Though they would lose an elite player in the deal, the Jets could turn Revis into several useful 2013 NFL Draft picks to help rebuild the team.
