NFL free agency rumors: Browns interested in Fred Davis
The Cleveland Browns may not be done making deals, as they’re reportedly interested in signing former Washington tight end Fred Davis.

Davis has been a productive player for the Redskins, but he’s coming off a torn Achilles tendon injury that ended his 2012 season after only seven games. In his abbreviated season, Davis caught 24 passes for 325 yards and a touchdown. His recovery is going well though, and the injury shouldn’t have any lingering effects during the 2013 season.
The Browns used their tight end a fair amount in 2012, as Ben Watson was the team's third-leading receiver with 49 catches. Davis would be an upgrade at the position, and would give Brandon Weeden another option in the passing game.
