The Philadelphia Eagles are interested in a pair of right tackles in Sebastian Vollmer and Andre Smith, according to ESPN.com's Dan Graziano. Vollmer was drafted by the Patriots in 2009, and has spent his entire career with New England. Smith is a former first-round pick by the Bengals, and despite getting off to a slow start, has become one of the top right tackles in the NFL.

The Eagles will undoubtedly be running more under new head coach Chip Kelly than they did under Andy Reid, so addressing the offensive line is extremely important. Graziano suggests that if Philadelphia can sign either Vollmer or Smith, it would allow them to shift Todd Herremans in to guard, which would almost certainly give them a better push up front for LaSean McCoy and Michael Vick. However, that plan could be thrown into chaos if left tackle Jason Peters doesn't fully recover from a torn Achilles tendon.
