The New York Giants signed tight end Brandon Myers on Saturday, adding a new weapon for Eli Manning in the wake of Martellus Bennett's departure. Myers started all 16 games for the Raiders last season, and will now call New York home after playing his first four seasons in Oakland.
Brandon Myers signs with Giants
Eli Manning has a new target at tight end for 2013. Brandon Myers will suit up for the G-Men next season.

Last season was a breakout year for Myers. He caught a career-high 79 passes for 806 yards and four touchdowns. Carson Palmer consistently relied on his tight end throughout the year. Manning will look to do the same.
Bennett caught 55 passes with the Giants in 2012. After starting off hot with a touchdown in three straight games, his involvement in the offense often fluctuated. Myers will instantly move to the top of the depth chart with Bennett off to Chicago.
Myers tied a Raiders franchise record with 14 receptions against the Browns this past December. He's not as physically imposing as Bennett, but his production last season proves he can make an impact if he's relied on. Myers only caught 32 passes in his first three seasons in Oakland.
