Our NFL March Madness touchdown tournament began with the 32 best offensive touchdowns of the 2012 season and after four rounds of voting, the contestants have been narrowed down to two. The upsets continued in the Final Four including a shocking result involving the long-time tournament favorite.

There wasn’t much suspense in the Elite 8 of the NFL March Madness touchdown tournament, as four touchdowns rolled to easy victories. The remaining bracket should set up for an interesting Final Four as we get closer to deciding the best offensive touchdown of the 2012 NFL season.

Here’s a look at the two Final Four matchups.

Peterson touchdowns make up nearly half of the remaining entrants as three of AD’s 2012 scores are still alive. At least one, however, will fall as the Elite 8 brings us a Peterson vs. Peterson matchup. It may be the first of two Peterson vs. Peterson show downs, but we’ll have to wait to see how the voting shakes out. Elite 8 voting opens today and will remain up until 8 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Like the NCAA Tournament, the first round of NFL March Madness was full of upsets. Six of the top eight seeds were eliminated while three No. 8 seeds remain in the running.

The question, however, remains can anyone beat Adrian Peteson? Peterson’s run against Green Bay is the only No. 1 seed remaining and Peterson touchdowns make up three of the remaining 16 entrants. Sweet 16 voting opens today and will remain up until 5 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament usually have an easy path through the first round, but the same cannot be said of our 2012 NFL offensive touchdown tournament.

It’s March, which means it’s time to take inspiration from the NCAA Tournament and make brackets of random things to finally decide which is best.

The final 32 include 18 passing touchdowns, 14 rushing touchdowns and plenty of broken tackles. The 32 touchdowns have been broken down into four regions. Matchups will be voted on, winners will advance, one touchdown will prevail and fun will be had by all.
