Among the participants to look forward to at the Texas Longhorns' pro day Tuesday will be wide receiver Marquise Goodwin, defensive end Alex Okafor and safety Kenny Vaccaro.
Texas pro day 2013: Players scheduled to work out March 26
Texas’ Pro Day is set for March 26 this year. Marquise Goodwin, Kenny Vaccaro and Alex Okafor will be among the participants.

Of the three, Vaccaro may be the most NFL ready. He is projected to be the first Longhorn taken in the 2013 NFL Draft, going to the St. Louis Rams at No. 22 according to SB Nation’s Dan Kadar. Arguably the best player at his position, Vaccaro is considered a complete package, able to hold his own in coverage and lay a big hit when needed.
Okafor may not be far behind Vaccaro in the draft. Kadar has him slotted at the No. 30 spot to the Atlanta Falcons. Okafor also has a well-rounded game, playing well against both the run and the pass.
Goodwin isn’t a projected Day 1 pick, but he has arguably been one of the biggest draft risers of any player at any position in the 2013 draft class. After making big plays in the Longhorns’ bowl game, he went to Mobile, Ala., last month and shined during Senior Bowl practices. He proceeded to make jaws drop in Indianapolis by running a 4.27-second 40-yard dash, the fastest time at the event.
