Rob Gronkowski makes his SportsCenter debut

His royal Gronkness was on SportsCenter, and it was rad, bro.

Nick Laham

Rob Gronkowski hosted SportsCenter. I could provide you with more details than that, but they are not as important as the simple fact that Gronk spread his essence all over basic cable.

Let’s analyze.

1. Newsworthiness - After his awkward introduction, he gets down to business, starting with RGIII and his “third recovery.” Well put.
Score: 8.4

2. Presence & delivery - Reading a teleprompter isn’t like dismantling Denver’s defense. It takes practice. Give the man a slap on the rear for effort. He clearly deserves another shot at it.
Score: 6.7

3. Gronkess - A yellow henley, peder-stache, wild gesticulations ... this is about as Gronk as it gets outside of the end zone or an ultra-lounge.
Score: 9.0

Like so many Gronk encounters, this one was raw, but it left me wanting me wanting more.
