Connor Barwin thanks Houston, hipster style

The former Texans linebacker thanked fans in the most appropriate way a hipster possibly could.

USA TODAY Sports

Former Houston Texans linebacker Connor Barwin, recently signed by the Eagles, did what a lot of free agents are doing these days, taking out an ad to thank fans. But Connor Barwin is a hipster, so a simple thank you would not do. He had to get all “indie” with his, throwing in his favorite restaurants, brunch spots no doubt, and bands into the mix.

(From Barwin’s Facebook page ... does he not have a Tumblr?)

Surely there’s a haberdashery and a vintage clothing store or two on that list ... along with Blaine Gabbert and his locally sourced popcorn guy.

Hipsters.
