Jarvis Moss will work out for Cowboys

A washout in Denver and Oakland, Jarvis Moss will try to make it in Dallas.

Doug Pensinger

The Dallas Cowboys are looking for any kind of help they can find, and they are now giving a work out to defensive end Jarvis Moss, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN.

Moss was a highly touted college player out of the University of Florida in 2007, when he was drafted by the Denver Broncos with the 17th overall pick.

However, Moss proved to be a major bust in the Mile High city, making almost no impact. Incredibly, Moss’ best season was 2008 when he recorded 12 tackles and 2.5 sacks, both career highs.

Denver tried to get the most out of Moss, holding onto him until November 2010, when he was finally released. The Oakland Raiders signed him later that same week, but got similar production, or lack thereof.

Moss was completely out of football in 2012 but is now trying to make a comeback. It’s hard to imagine Dallas will find a spot for him, but there’s no harm in trying him out.
