According to Mary Kay Cabot, the Cleveland Browns are reportedly interested in Arizona Cardinals veteran linebacker Quentin Groves.

According to sources, the Cleveland Browns are interested in signing Quentin Groves.

Groves was originally a second-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2008 NFL Draft. He has since journeyed to the Oakland Raiders and most recently, the Cardinals. In Arizona, Groves played for defensive coordinator Ray Horton, who now holds the same position with Cleveland.
It seems Horton is high on Groves and thinks he can be an asset to their linebacking corps in Ohio.
With only 153 career tackles, Groves still has a lot of tread on his tires. He should also be a bargain signing if Cleveland does indeed pursue him. And having played a year in the hard-nosed NFC West, Groves should have the toughness to compete with the Bengals, Ravens and Steelers in the AFC North.
And his game is on the rise, as the fourth-year linebacker from Auburn had a career-high 46 tackles in 2012.
The free agent period begins on Tuesday, March 12, which is when Groves can officially sign with a team. But a team can legally tamper as early as this Saturday. This allows teams to make contact with a player’s agent, but not the player directly.
