Chiefs sign Zac Diles, Akeem Jordan

The Chiefs continue to add depth at linebacker.

Otto Greule Jr

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed linebackers Zac Diles and Akeem Jordan to one-year deals, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reported Saturday night.

Diles was a seventh-round pick out of Kansas State in 2007 and he spent his first three seasons with the Houston Texans. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts in 2011, and he was a member of the Tennessee Titans last season. He had seven tackles in 2012 in six games.

Jordan is entering his seventh season in the NFL, and he spent his first six playing for the Philadelphia Eagles after they signed him in 2007 as an undrafted free agent. He had 26 tackles last season in 14 games.
