Geno Smith may be the top quarterback in this year's draft class, but he's also one of the toughest players to project heading into next week. The Cleveland Browns could end up being a wild card for landing Smith, according to Albert Breer of NFL.com.
NFL Draft 2013: Geno Smith is ‘wild card’ for Browns
Predicting where Geno Smith will be drafted is anyone’s guess at this point. Could he be heading to the Cleveland Browns next week?

Breer notes the Browns might select Smith at No. 6 overall or trade down and wait for him at a later pick. Cleveland currently has Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell vying for the top spot on the depth chart, but it might be looking to add another versatile quarterback into the mix.
Smith was recently linked as one of the players the Browns are looking at for their first-round pick. They held a private workout for him in Miami on Saturday. Is he worth taking with the sixth pick of the draft?
Trading down looks like a smart move for Cleveland. SB Nation's Matthew Fairburn sees the Miami Dolphins moving up to acquire an offensive tackle with the Browns' first pick. He also mocks Smith going to the Philadelphia Eagles at No. 4.
If the Browns draft Smith, he will compete for the starting job right away.
