Speculation by many that the NFL schedule would be released on Tuesday turned out to be incorrect. The NFL has stated that its schedule isn’t completely finished and thus, isn’t ready to be consumed by the masses, according to Pro Football Talk.
NFL schedule will not be released on Tuesday as planned
Fanatics will have to wait as the NFL schedule isn’t quite ready.

Typically, the NFL released its schedule in the middle of April with the first game of the campaign being hosted on a Thursday night by the defending Super Bowl champion. Last year, the New York Giants did open at home but on a Wednesday due to the State of the Union address being on the following night.
This season, the Baltimore Ravens will not be opening at home due to a scheduling conflict with the Baltimore Orioles, but are reportedly slated to still open on a Thursday night.
John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal had more on the potential release date after the initial news was reported on Monday morning:
The release date for the 2013 NFL schedule has been postponed. Originally scheduled for tomorrow, it's now coming in the "next week or two."

With the draft looming on April 25, it will be worth watching to see if the NFL releases the schedule before then.
