New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is reportedly "ahead of schedule" rehabbing his surgically repaired knee and has received clearance to resume running, according to ESPN New York's Rich Cimini.
Darrelle Revis injury update: Jets CB is ‘ahead of schedule’
The Jets cornerback is cleared to resume running after tearing his ACL last September.

This offseason has been hectic for Revis, as in addition to injury rehab, he has been the subject of very public trade rumors. The long-rumored trade that would send Revis to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has reportedly been put on hold, and he is in New York to join the team for their offseason training program.
Revis tore his ACL last September, further complicating his bumpy relationship with the team. The latest issue that came up was that the Jets were upset that Revis didn't have the team's doctors at Atlantic Health perform his knee surgery, instead using Giants team physician Dr. Russell Warren.
