Chip Kelly has the Philadelphia Eagles working on the read option during minicamp, according to Geoff Mosher of CSN Philadelphia. The play was the base of Kelly's offensive attack at the University of Oregon and helped him create one of the most prolific offenses in the NCAA.
Chip Kelly incorporates read option into Eagles minicamp
It didn’t take long for Chip Kelly to bring in his favorite offensive play.

The read option spread across the NFL last season, with a number of teams utilizing the play effectively. Eagles quarterback Michael Vick seems to be a natural fit to run the style. His speed and running ability allow him to be a dangerous threat should he hold onto the ball, and that will make life even more difficult in the running game for defensive ends.
Vick's passing ability will likely determine whether or not he can guide a potent Eagles offensive attack. Quarterbacks like Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III, who were able to combine effective passing with speed, were best able to exploit defenses last year.
