The 2013 NFL Draft is now just a week away. Team draft boards should be close to concrete by now. Some of the top prospects in this year's class are still generating buzz approaching Thursday night, but not everyone is enjoying the news they're involved in. For DeAndre Hopkins and Mark Harrison, draft day can't come soon enough.
2013 NFL draft buzz: DeAndre Hopkins, Mark Harrison linked to trashed hotel room
DeAndre Hopkins and Mark Harrison made headlines Thursday evening, but not for a good reason. Here’s their latest news and the rest of the ongoings around the NFL Draft.

Hopkins and Harrison were discovered as the occupants of the trashed hotel room at the NFL Combine back in February. It’s unclear if either player took part in creating the mess, but the fact that their names were linked to the room could hurt their draft outlook.
A first-round projection for Hopkins is in jeopardy if teams find out he was involved in the trashing. Harrison sits farther down the rankings, but he’s hoping to steer clear of any trouble as well. What else made headlines Thursday?
Going against the grain, Mayock ranks Hayden as his No. 1 cornerback in the draft. Other analysts don't seem to place as much value in the Houston product. SB Nation's Dan Kadar puts Hayden at No. 12 among the cornerback group and No. 75 overall. Mayock also said Hayden won't last past the Bengals at pick No. 21.
The annual tradition of Wonderlic scores being revealed prior to the draft kept running strong this year. Tavon Austin reportedly scored a 7 on his test, while Cordarrelle Patterson fared slightly better with an 11. Is their draft stock crashing and burning as a result? Of course not. Wonderlic scores don't serve much of a purpose other than giving people something to jeer at on Twitter. Frank Gore scored a 6 back in 2005. How did he turn out? Austin will be drafted early in Round 1 and no one will think any different of it.
The Cal wideout visited Indianapolis recently for a medical recheck on his right ankle. Some speculated Allen was undergoing another drug test after being red-flagged at the NFL Combine, but this report puts that claim to rest. Knee issues have also troubled his pre-draft workouts. Fortunately for Allen, he was able to work out for scouts last week.
Lance Zierlein of The Sideline View tweeted that he’s starting to hear rumblings about Hunter being the first wideout drafted this year. Drops have been the biggest issue for the Tennessee receiver, but the talent is clearly there. He ran a 4.36 40 at the NFL Combine, and his size and length will make him one of the top to go at his position. Can he beat out Austin, though?
