Al Michaels arrested for DUI, according to report
Al Michaels, one of the sports world’s biggest names in broadcasting, spent Friday night in jail.

Michaels struggled with a field sobriety test, and was jailed just before 10 p.m. after two breathalyzer tests showed a .08 and .09 blood alcohol content. He was released from Santa Monica County jail at 4:15 a.m. Saturday morning under his own recognizance, according to CNN.
Sgt. Ryan Gradles of the Santa Monica police said that Michaels was extremely cooperative, according to the report. Sources told TMZ that Michaels “could not have been nicer throughout the ordeal.”
Michaels is scheduled to appear in front Los Angeles Municipal Court at 8:30 a.m. on June 26. Neither Michaels nor NBC have yet to comment.
Michaels currently works the Sunday Night Football booth with Chris Collinsworth on NBC. He also hosted coverage of the 2012 London Summer Olympics. Also, this was kind of a big deal.
