2013 NFL Draft team needs: Buffalo Bills

After back-to-back 6-10 seasons, there was plenty of change in Buffalo this offseason. Head coach Chan Gailey is gone, as is former starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. The transition under new head coach Doug Marrone has already begun, but there is still more work to do.

Buffalo has talent, but not enough. The offensive side of the ball is lacking, as outside of C.J. Spiller and Stevie Johnson, the Bills don't have much in the way of skill players. While Buffalo could grab an offensive weapon, or even a quarterback, with the No. 8 pick, there are also holes on the defensive side of the ball. The Bills have defensive talent, but like on offense, they just don't have enough of it.

Quarterback - Fitzpatrick was once the starter of the future, but after a second-straight down season, he was released. The Bills signed Kevin Kolb this offseason and have Tarvaris Jackson already in the fold, but Buffalo could still use a long-term solution. The top quarterbacks could still be available when Buffalo picks at No. 8, giving the Bills options.

Wide receiver - Johnson is a solid No. 1 option, but Buffalo lacks depth behind him. David Nelson and Donald Jones left via free agency, leaving Buffalo with a largely unproven depth chart outside of Johnson. The draft is deep in wide receivers, giving Buffalo the ability to add multiple players.

Outside linebacker - Buffalo signed Manny Lawson as a free agent, but even with that addition, the Bills are lacking depth at outside linebacker. The Bills have youth at linebacker and there's potential there, but adding another prospect, especially one with pass-rush ability, would be a major boost.
