The Oakland Raiders and New Orleans Saints are trying to trade down in this week's NFL Draft, according to Albert Breer of NFL.com. Both teams may be looking to increase their numbers of second-round picks.
NFL Draft rumors: Raiders, Saints among teams trying to trade down
The Oakland Raiders and New Orleans Saints apparently want to get rid of their first-round picks.

The Raiders possess the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, but they don’t have a second-round selection. With many teams looking to move up and get one of the top three offensive linemen -- Luke Joeckel, Eric Fisher and Lane Johnson. The Raiders could use some offensive line help, but swapping No. 3 for a couple of extra picks may be more valuable.
The Saints are set to pick at No. 15, but they need pass rushers, per Breer. Since this year’s class doesn’t feature any ends that worth a top-15 pick, New Orleans likely wants to acquire more picks in future years. In a draft that doesn’t have a lot of enticing prospects after the first few slots. Due to the bounty scandal, the Saints are limited to five picks this year, but if they can trade No. 15, they can add selections in future drafts.
