The Minnesota Vikings unveiled their new uniforms for the 2013 season Thursday evening, just before the start of the NFL Draft. The new uniforms will feature plenty of fancy touches courtesy of Nike, including, of course, a new helmet with a matte finish.

Overall, the new uniforms aren’t much of a departure from what the Vikings have worn for years. The color scheme remains the same, though according to Nike a brighter shade of gold accent was used to help the purple stand out even more. The uniform numbers were adjusted as well. They no longer feature a yellow trim, and a serif font is used to reflect “the bow of a viking ship.”
The jerseys look sharp, if not exactly revolutionary. You can check out more pictures of Adrian Peterson donning the new threads below, courtesy of the Vikings' official site. Head there to see the uniforms from every angle.
