...the thing that teams will like about Taylor is his physicality at the corner position. He can contribute in run support but also lockdown receivers...that is, if the receivers can even get off the line. Taylor flew somewhat under the radar playing in the Mountain West Conference, as many players have been accustomed to in the past. He was named to the 2012 All-MWC First team as a senior after recording 51 tackles, four interceptions, 2.5 sacks and nine passes defended.

The recovery speed from his back pedal in off man coverage is quite remarkable as evidenced in his tapes and at the Combine.He’s physical in press coverage play calls and uses his strong hands to guide the receiver very well.
Taylor redshirted in 2009 due to a knee injury after playing as a true freshman. He also missed four games with a stress fracture in his leg in 2011. He was in action for the entirety of his senior year, though.
