NFL Draft 2013: Keenan Allen says knee is ‘90 percent’
New Charger Keenan Allen is hoping to be ready for training camp.

The former Cal standout was considered a first-round prospect at the beginning of the 2012 season, but he tore his PCL in October and got an unrelated ankle injury later. He was unable to work out at the NFL Combine and had a poor performance at Cal’s pro day. Allen fell from the first all the way to the end of the third round. The Chargers scooped him with the 76th overall pick.
Allen will join Danario Alexander, Malcom Floyd and Vincent Brown in a muddled depth chart at San Diego. If he's healthy in time for training camp and develops a quick rapport with Philip Rivers, this could end up being one of the steals of the draft.
