The AFC North is one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL. The defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens have to hold off the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Cleveland Browns look like they’re finally putting something together. The third day of the NFL Draft is where teams can really give themselves a boost by finding overlooked talent, so let’s take a look at how each of these teams did on Saturday.
2013 NFL Draft grades: No standouts in AFC North
The cutthroat AFC North added some talented players on day three of the NFL Draft. Let’s take a look and see how all four teams did on Saturday.

CBS: B
Baltimore Beatdown: B+
The Ravens had an astounding seven picks on Saturday, which was more than some teams' entire drafts. They picked up some potential high-impact players in Ohio State defensive tackle John Simon and Notre Dame defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore, although Lewis-Moore will probably not be healthy to begin the season. Baltimore also picked a couple of small school players in Colorado State-Pueblo offensive tackle Ryan Jensen and Elon wideout Ryan Mellette.
CBS: B-
Cincinnati added a lot of quality depth on Saturday, starting with Texas A&M linebacker Sean Porter in the fourth round. The other notable picks the Bengals made were Arkansas wide receiver Cobi Hamilton and Ohio State offensive tackle Reid Fragel. Hamilton was extremely productive for the Razorbacks, and Fragel is a high-ceiling lineman who moved to the position from tight end only a year ago.
CBS: C-
Cleveland only had three picks on Saturday, and each of them led to some head scratching. They took Notre Dame safety Jamoris Slaughter in the sixth round, and then went with two small school guys in East Central defensive end Armonty Bryant and Chadron State offensive tackle Garrett Gilkey in the seventh. The Browns have a lot of needs, but those three may not be of much help immediately.

Behind The Steel Curtain fan poll: B
The Steelers had six picks in the final four rounds of the draft and made interesting use of them. Their fourth round pick, Syracuse safety Shamarko Thomas, is a classic big hitter that will fit in well in Pittsburgh. They also took a pair of Oklahoma Sooners in quarterback Landry Jones and wide receiver Justin Brown. Jones isn't projected to be an NFL starter, but he has some time to develop behind Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers also added some secondary depth with Illinois cornerback Terry Hawthorne.
