The Chicago Bears are just like every other team in the NFL. While they are relieved the draft is a thing of the past, they now turn their attention to the undrafted free agents in what is a whirlwind atmosphere.
2013 undrafted free agents: Bears signings
With a new regime in place, the Bears are hoping to see a little roster shakeup, perhaps aided by some finds in this stage of the offseason.

Chicago went 10-6 last season but missed the playoffs due to a tiebreaker, and now with new head coach Marc Trestman, the team is looking to bounce back. Perhaps it can find a few difference makers in this crop of undrafted free agents.
Before you swear off these kids as camp fodder, remember the names of men like Brian Waters, Rod Smith, Wayne Chrebet and Arian Foster.
All of the above were undrafted free agents who went on to have successful careers. To this point, the Bears have signed four men, according to Windy City Gridiron:
- Mark Harrison, S, Rutgers
- Josh Lenz, WR, Iowa State
- Zach Minter, DT, Montana State
- Brent Russell, DT, Georgia Southern
These other players are listed by NEPatriotsdraft.com.
- Tress Way, P, Oklahoma
- PJ Lonegran, C, LSU
- Michael Ford, RB, LSU
- Demontre Hurst, CB, Oklahoma
