The Atlanta Falcons had a successful three-day run at the 2013 NFL Draft, making eight selections over the 72 hours at Radio City Music Hall, with six of those choices coming on the defensive side of the ball, including the team's first two picks. GM Thomas Dimitroff chose Washington's CB Marcus Trufant in the first round and corner Robert Alford out of Southeast Louisiana in the second, bolstering a Falcons secondary that lost Dunta Robinson, Brent Grimes and Chris Owens this offseason.
Undrafted free agents 2013: Falcons sign 4 linebackers, 18 players so far
The Atlanta Falcons focused heavily on the defensive side of the ball in the 2013 NFL Draft, and that emphasis held true in the team’s initial signings of undrafted free agents on Saturday.

Once the draft was officially over, the team did not stop adding players, signing a plethora of undrafted free agents. Four linebackers were inked, a former Texas Tech quarterback was signed, and even a kicker was brought in to perhaps challenge incumbent Matt Bryant.
