A lot of people have focused on Tim Tebow's throwing motion during his playing career, but former NFL quarterback Vinny Testaverde said it was really Tebow's footwork that needed work. Testaverde worked out with Tebow this offseason and declared his throwing motion a "non-issue" after cleaning up his footwork.
Vinny Testaverde calls Tim Tebow’s throwing motion a ‘non-issue’
Tim Tebow reportedly improved his footwork by working with Vinny Testaverde. Will he ever get to show it off in the NFL?

Testaverde and former NFL quarterback Chris Weinke worked out with Tebow for a week earlier this month. Testaverde said he and Weinke quickly realized Tebow was stepping in the wrong direction when he threw.
“Chris and I looked at Tim careful and we were both amazed,” Testaverde said, via Rich Cimini of ESPN New York. “Everybody has been focusing on his throwing motion, trying to fix that, but nobody had picked up his footwork. His footwork was all screwed up. Chris and I looked at each other after about four or five throws, and we saw the same thing. We got his footwork fixed. His throwing motion is now a non-issue.”
Testaverde and Weinke weren’t the only tutors to work with Tebow this offseason. Tebow worked with a couple of different quarterback tutors who attempted to fix his throwing motion. All of the work appeared to pay off, as Testaverde said Tebow no longer has an elongated throwing motion.
The problem, however, is Tebow may not get the chance to put his new mechanics to the test on an NFL roster. After being released by the Jets on Monday, a number of NFL teams have distanced themselves from Tebow, with one general manger going as far as calling Tebow "radioactive".
