2014 Super Bowl odds: 49ers, Broncos favored after NFL Draft

If the current odds prove to be correct, San Francisco and Denver will meet in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE

Now that the 2013 NFL Draft is over, oddsmakers at pregame.com have tabbed the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos as favorites to reach Super Bowl XLVIII.

San Francisco is set at 6/1 odds to make it to the big game next February, while Denver is at 7/1 odds. Other contenders include the New England Patriots (8/1), Seattle Seahawks (9/1) and Green Bay Packers (12/1). The defending champion Baltimore Ravens are at 28/1. For anyone looking to take the NFL's biggest underdogs, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders are listed at 200/1 odds.

In addition to listing Super Bowl favorites, pregame.com set odds for several other post-draft topics. New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith is a 5/1 favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, and Detroit Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah is favored at 8/1 to win the defensive award. The over/under for number of starts by Smith is set at 4.5, while the over/under for starts by Philadelphia Eagles QB Matt Barkley is at two.

Perhaps the most interesting odds involve free agent quarterback Tim Tebow. Pregame.com says there's a 68 percent chance the next league in which Tebow plays is the NFL. The CFL has a 13 percent chance, while the Arena League is at six percent. The oddsmakers say there is a 13 percent chance Tebow never plays again.
