NFL Draft 2013: Ryan Nassib, EJ Manuel could be 1st-round picks, per Peter King

King believes more than one quarterback will be a top pick in the upcoming draft.

West Virginia Mountaineers quarterback Geno Smith might not be the only signal caller taken in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, according to the great Peter King of Sports Illustrated.

King believes Florida State Seminoles quarterback E.J.Manuel and Ryan Nassib of the Syracuse Orange could also hear their names called on the first night.

Nassib has been drawing significant interest in the past few weeks, with rumors constantly flying around that the Buffalo Bills will take him with one of their first two selections. Of course, it would make sense, since Doug Marrone, Nassib’s former college coach, is now the head man with Buffalo.

Manuel is a little raw but has all the skills most NFL men look for. Manuel is a large quarterback who can use his feet to evade the rush and has a cannon for an arm.

King sees both of them as potentially the second and third quarterbacks, respectively, off the board, per the article:

I can’t wait to see the Nassib and Manuel shows. When I talk to teams leading up to the April 25 first round, I keep hearing both Nassib and Manuel as late-first-round prospects. Nassib in particular, and certainly more than Manuel.

It will be intriguing to see if anyone sneaks up and gets drafted before those two, such as Tyler Bray, Matt Barkley or Tyler Wilson.
