The Jets and Buccaneers are discussing trade possibilities involving cornerback Darrelle Revis, and New York is asking for Tampa Bay's 2013 first-round draft pick, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. That pick is the 13th overall and would give the Jets two selections in the first round when paired with their No. 9 slot.
Darrelle Revis trade rumors: Jets want Buccaneers’ 1st round choice
The Jets are asking a big price for their star cornerback.

Tampa Bay has a “self-imposed” deadline because of Revis’ ACL injury. Any trade would be followed by an extensive physical, cutting it close to the first day of the draft on April 25. New York also has incentive to get a deal done quickly. Revis will get a $3 million bonus for showing up to offseason workouts with the team. That’s good for Tampa Bay, who could use all the leverage it can get at this point.
Revis is a four-time Pro-Bowler and three-time All-Pro. He missed nearly all of the 2012 season after suffering an ACL injury in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins. He played just one full game last year, but still made an impact in that game by intercepting a pass and recording five tackles in a win over the Bills.
