New York Jets GM John Idzik thinks that free-agent Joshua Cribbs' knee "isn't quite there yet," according to Conor Orr of the Star-Ledger. The Jets gave Cribbs a physical last week, but he left town without signing a deal.

Cribbs visited four teams over the last week. In addition to the Jets, he visited the New York Giants, Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions. None of the teams made him an offer yet, no doubt due to lingering concerns over his knee injury. He had meniscus surgery over the offseason.
The 29-year-old spent his entire career with the Cleveland Browns, mainly as a return man. Last season, he had 1,178 kick return yards and added 457 yards on punt returns.
Cribbs is still drawing plenty of interest for his special teams prowess, but he hasn’t been able to prove that his knee is 100 percent yet.
