The QB competition is in full swing in Jacksonville.

The team remains committed to Gabbert, but it’s clear he won’t be handed the starting job. Head coach Gus Bradley is bringing over the spirit of competition from Seattle. “We’re rotating by period. There’s a lot of competition and they’re battling it. Everything we do we’re trying to create some sort of competition for our team. Hopefully as OTA’s go on, we get more and more of those situations to evaluate them.”
Gabbert struggled in his second season, completing 58 percent of his passes for 1,662 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions before going down with a shoulder injury. Henne wasn’t much better in his stead, making just 53 percent of his passes for 2,084 yards, 11 touchdowns and 11 picks.
