Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has a big fan in newly acquired receiver Mike Wallace. Wallace told the Miami Herald that he loves Tannehill's skills and potential, and believes he could be just as good as his old teammate, Ben Roethlisberger:
Mike Wallace confident in Ryan Tannehill’s potential
The new Dolphins No. 1 receiver believes Ryan Tannehill will take a big step forward in his second season.

”It’s funny; they both played receiver at the beginning of college. They both know what we [receivers] like to do out there, so the chemistry is there already. Both have strong arms. Ryan has a cannon, can really fling it.
“Ryan may be able to throw the ball a little farther than Ben. Obviously, Ben is more experienced in game time experience. The way it’s going, it won’t take long for Ryan to be one of the great quarterbacks. I feel like we can make a lot of big plays.”
Thrown into the fire as a rookie, Tannehill completed 58.3 percent of his passes for 3,294 yards, 12 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. It was an up-and-down year, but were it not for Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson lighting up the league, Tannehill would probably be talked about a lot more than he is.
Tannehill has plenty of room for improvement, but the Dolphins gave him major upgrades in Wallace and tight end Dustin Keller. If he clicks with Wallace as expected, he could take a big step forward in 2013.
