A week after Michael Vick received the majority of first-team snaps, Nick Foles had the edge in Eagles practice on Monday. Foles took 21 snaps with the first team compared to 15 for Vick, according to Jeff McLane of Philly.com.
Nick Foles, Michael Vick rotate Eagles 1st team reps
Foles and Vick continue to split reps and on Monday it was Foles who received the majority of first-team reps.

Philadelphia head coach Chip Kelly has experimented with offensive players playing defense this offseason, so it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that he’s rotating reps. While Foles held the edge in first-team snaps during Monday’s practice, the two quarterbacks saw nearly an identical number of reps. According to McLane, Vick took 36 overall snaps while Foles took 37.
Rookie Matt Barkley held a significant edge on third-team reps. He took 21 snaps on Monday, compared to five for Dennis Dixon and two for G.J. Kinne. While offseason snap counts may not mean much when it comes to deciding the starting quarterback battle, Barkley may be on the way to establishing himself as a clear No. 3.
