Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson (back) has been cleared to return to offseason workouts, according to Tim Graham of The Buffalo News. It's the first time all offseason he's been able to work out.

Johnson sat out the first wave of voluntary workouts in April with a lower-back strain. The injury lingered into May, and he’s been forced to miss the first few days of practice. Now he’s feeling good enough to get back on the field:

”It definitely feels good to just be out there on the field, even through the little pains I have.

It’s getting better every week. They gave me a six- to eight-week thing to even get on the field, and it’s only been about three, so I feel good.”

Despite a series of nagging injuries, Johnson hasn’t missed a regular season game since 2009. He caught 79 passes for 1,046 yards and six touchdowns last season.
