San Franciso's Joe Staley had arthroscopic surgery on his knee this offseason, but the procedure isn't expected to impact his status for the start of training camp, according to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee.

Staley is coming off back-to-back All-Pro seasons and has started 32 straight games despite a myriad of injuries. He had knee issues in 2009 and again last season, but was able to play through. According to Barrows, the procedure Staley had this offseason is relatively minor and Staley should be able to go full speed by training camp and possibly sooner.
NFL players often play through minor injuries and while Staley may have been able to avoid surgery, getting it out of the way during the offseason should help prevent further issues. He was one of a few notable veterans to miss OTA practice on Tuesday as Aldon Smith, Justin Smith and Mike Iupati sat out while recovering from offseason surgeries. San Francisco is also without Michael Crabtree who is out for the foreseeable future after undergoing surgery to repair a torn Achilles' tendon.
