Johnson apologized to the judge, who took Johnson’s bit of excessive celebration as a sign that he wasn’t taking the legal process seriously. Johnson had just accepted a plea deal that would have included zero jail time when he executed the offending slap.
Fortunately, if there is a team that is willing to give him a chance, Johnson will be available for a tryout immediately.
