Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III remains on schedule in his rehab from ACL surgery. He hopes to clear one more step on the road to recovery after paying another visit to Dr. James Andrews next week, according to the Washington Examiner.

RGIII is paying another visit to Dr. James Andrews as he continues his knee rehab. He plans to start cutting next week.

Griffin plans to begin cutting again next week, further testing his surgically repaired right knee. He has a lot of work beyond cutting drills to do as he readies for the 2013 season; he outlined what lies ahead to the Examiner:
“It’s a month of doing cutting drills, changing direction,” he said. “That way I can train my body to get back for that. I’ll start cutting and then after that it’s just everything over and over.
“I continue to work out in the weight room over the next four or five weeks, continue to keep sprinting, and just get more and more comfortable.”
Griffin ran some more bootleg plays in Tuesday’s minicamp, though only with other players currently rehabbing. He remains on track to be ready for training camp, and barring any setbacks should be 100 percent by Week 1 of the regular season.
