The Seattle Seahawks are about to bring back one of their old quarterbacks in Tarvaris Jackson, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The deal is for one year and for an unspecified amount of money.

The quarterback formerly of the great northwest is looking to make a return.

Jackson spent last season playing for the Buffalo Bills after being traded by the Seahawks for a seventh-round pick in August of 2012. However, head coach Pete Carroll has decided to give Jackson another chance at making the roster with a backup quarterback position open following the trade of Matt Flynn to the Oakland Raiders.
In Jackson's first tenure at Seattle, he was a mediocre starter at best who couldn't lead the team to the playoffs. Now, he'll be expected to hold a clipboard and provide some wisdom for youngster Russell Wilson, who, entering his second campaign, appears well on his way to stardom.
In his career, Jackson has thrown 33 touchdowns and 31 interceptions for the Minnesota Vikings, Seahawks and Bills.
