The Denver Broncos signed center Dan Koppen last September to snap balls to quarterback Peyton Manning. They apparently thought that worked out pretty well, agreeing to terms with Koppen for another season, as announced on Thursday.
Broncos sign center Dan Koppen
Denver is bringing back the veteran center for another season. How much does the 33-year-old have left in the tank?

Koppen won a Super Bowl in each of his first two seasons in the league, starting at center for the Patriots in 2003 and 2004 after being a fifth-round draft pick out of Boston College. He was named to his first and only Pro Bowl in 2007 and has started 132 games in his career.
Koppen fractured his ankle in Week 1 of the 2011 season, later being released during final cuts in 2012. The Broncos picked him up and he started 12 games for Denver last season. Following the expiration of that deal a few months ago, Koppen remained on the market while Denver still had a hole in the middle of its offensive line.
It looks like they’ve found each other again.
