Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Jason Babin is close to being completely healed after undergoing groin surgery earlier in June. Babin is on schedule to be ready to go when the Jaguars open training camp.
Jason Babin injury: Jaguars DE nearing full recovery following groin surgery
Babin expects to be totally healthy in less than two weeks.

“I’m about nine days out from being 100 percent,” Babin said during a fan rally on Thursday. He had been hampered by the hamstring throughout the offseason and finally opted for surgery, which took place on June 4. It was the first surgical procedure of his career.
Babin joined the Jaguars toward the end of the 2012 season after being released by Philadelphia, and started the final five games. He is expected to handle one of the starting defensive end positions in Jacksonville again this season, where the Jaguars hope he’ll be able to thrive and duplicate some of the big years he’s had in the past.
Babin has 55 sacks over nine seasons, including a career-high 18 in 2011.
