After visiting New England last week, free agent defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis will visit the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions this week, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Sedrick Ellis rumors: Bears, Lions line up visits
After not generating much interest on the free agent market, Sedrick Ellis has multiple free agent visits lined up.

The 27-year-old Ellis spent the first five seasons of his career with the New Orleans Saints. He didn't draw much interest on the free agent market earlier in the offseason, but interest appears to be picking up now that teams are going through OTAs. The Cardinals reportedly considered signing Ellis, but nothing came of those talks.
Ellis worked out for the Patriots on Friday and visited the Lions on Monday, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. While he may not have lived up to the hype that came with being the No. 7 pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, Ellis could be a solid depth addition for whichever team signs him. He's not likely to start, but does have extensive experience, having started 70 games over five season in New Orleans.
His best season came in 2010 when he set career-highs for tackles with 44 and sacks with 6.0.
