Saints CB Keenan Lewis hospitalized with stomach pains
Lewis spent the night in a hospital with stomach pains and missed Tuesday’s practice. It’s not expected to be serious.

Lewis spent the night in a hospital after complaining about stomach pains. His condition wasn’t serious, but doctors kept him overnight for observation before releasing him on Tuesday. He is expected to make a speedy recovery and could be back on the practice field as early as Wednesday. Coach Sean Payton confirmed that he missed Tuesday’s practice, but wouldn’t elaborate on his condition.
Lewis had 71 tackles, 23 passes defended and one forced fumble with the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. The Saints signed him to a five-year, $26 million deal in hopes that he would turn around their struggling pass defense. He has been rotating first-team reps with Jabari Greer and Patrick Robinson during OTAs.
